One of the main focuses of the Searcy Arts Council is support of the visual arts. The primary venue for this focus is the Searcy Art Gallery in the historic Black House on Race Street. With four intimate gallery spaces, the Black House plays host to six major exhibits every year. Local and area artists, student art shows and cultural heritage rooms are available to the viewing public.
